Shaping tomorrow’s water infrastructure with long-lasting, corrosion-proof solutions.
East Sabine Relief Sewer – Expansion of Sanitary Sewer System with FRP Pipes
The East Sabine Relief Sewer project in Royse City, TX, is a major wastewater infrastructure upgrade designed to expand the city’s sanitary sewer system. Superlit FRP pipes will contribute to increase capacity, enhance reliability, and mitigate potential issues related to the city’s rapid growth, which has placed increasing demands on the existing infrastructure. The new sanitary sewer will be operated by the North Texas Municipal Water District.
Red Oak Creek Relief Interceptor
This project featured the installation of approximately 8,720 linear feet of 27- to 30-inch (700 to 800mm) Superlit FRP gravity sewer pipe. Each section was joined using Full Face® FRP couplings, ensuring a leak-free, corrosion-resistant, and flexible joint system capable of accommodating minor angular deflections. Installation combined open-cut excavation and tunneling, with FRP pipes installed inside steel casings in sensitive areas to minimize surface disruption.
Modernizing Montreal’s West Island Potable Water Network with FRP Pipes
The project features the installation of 36 in (900 mm) FRP pipes manufactured by SUPERLIT, engineered for a minimum nominal pressure of 150 psi and using the restrained joint system with Full Face® FRP couplings. This solution ensures the system's leak-tightness, corrosion resistance, and installation flexibility. Over 60 custom fittings were designed and manufactured to accommodate the project layout. Complying with NSF/ANSI 61, ASTM D3517, and BNQ certification, the project contributes to a sustainable and resilient drinking water system for the West Island community of Montreal.
Trenchless Rehabilitation of Historic Egg-Shaped Sewer, Montreal
This project showcases the trenchless rehabilitation of a 1909 egg-shaped brick combined sewer under downtown Montreal, using slip lining with custom non-circular FRP liners manufactured by Channeline. It demonstrates how such solutions can preserve original shapes for optimal flow, extend service life by 100 years, and minimize surface impacts - applications where Novinfra supports clients with specialized materials and expertise.
