Structural rehabilitation of Culvert in Trois-Rivieres using Channeline FRP liners

After an inspection revealed significant structural deficiencies that required the immediate closure of the road for safety reasons, Channeline FRP liner system was selected to restore traffic and extend the structure’s service life of the existing culvert - a sustainable, structural solution custom-designed to fit the existing culvert’s shape while minimizing excavation and disruption. Prefabricated with precision in arch-shaped segments, the Channeline FRP liners were rapidly installed by sliplining through a single access point, enabling efficient work execution despite challenging site conditions. The new FRP structure increased the culvert’s hydraulic capacity by nearly 8%.
